Before Starting a Business Online or Off
Before starting a business both online and off has to take into consideration 4 things:
1. Define a niche market
There are 2 approaches to choosing a niche or topic in which to develop a business:
1. Inner Focus. Is based on the skills, knowledge and passion of the entrepreneur.
2. External focus. Is based on demand, “missing amount a bakery cake.”
The correct approach is one that combines the two approaches. If your business you based on demand, you have to learn about this or hire people with skills, knowledge and passion about the topic to be developed. And if your business is based on your own skills, knowledge and passion, you have to find a niche where they develop.
2. Study the market
Within a market research there are 3 key points:
1. Analyzes the demand. If there are people with money to spend and looking on the internet what you offer, because no business. Who are “those who are” what they need, as you look … you need to analyze all possibilities.
2. Analyze the offer. Surely you’re not the only offering that product or service in your niche market, analyzing who is offering the same, as they are offering and what their shortcomings advantage when you define your niche and your offer.
3. Analyzes trends. It is considering whether there is demand in your niche is here to stay, which only occurs at certain times or if you have long life.
3. Meeting demand
Here is where you define your offer, here are your weapons define sales and how you will develop marketing strategies to bring your product or service to your customer. This is important to work some things to make a difference that will make people buy from you instead of your competitor:
1. USP (unique selling proposition). A USP is a short summary that defines precisely what you offer, or you represent and positions you as something different in the minds of your customers or potential customers.
2. Brand and positioning. Based on your USP, your brand (personal or business) will represent your position in the market. Simply by translating a brand (slogan, logo, content, etc.) How you want others to see your business.
3. Specialization. Provide specialized content and services will make you enter the door that says “Welcome” to the house of your client. The fact that they see you as someone willing to share their knowledge is something that will give confidence and credibility to your brand and ultimately your business.
4. Think and act like an entrepreneur
If you ride a business no matter how small you need to do things and act like an entrepreneur. If you follow up a business and acting as an employee may not have much success.
The entrepreneur’s objective is to assemble something that works without the need for work or presence, which is known as creating an asset. For that you will have to be willing to work hard in the beginning and “be open” to failure. Being an entrepreneur is to assume that risk and that work.
